Cyveillance Cyber Intelligence Experts to Present at 2009 Techno Security Conference
Dr. Terry Gudaitis and Gregory Ogorek to Lead Four Presentations on Financial Fraud and Discovery
| WHAT: | The 2009 Techno Security Conference is intended to raise international awareness towards increased education and ethics in IT security and is put on by The Training Company LLC. During the conference, Dr. Terry Gudaitis, Cyber Intelligence Director will address "Casing a City," "Social Engineering" and "Insider Threats – Identifying Signs of Internal Abuse" during her three presentations. Additionally, Gregory Ogorek will discuss "Phishing, Pharming and Malware." |
| WHO: | Dr. Terry Gudaitis is focused on the human psychology and security aspects of malicious Internet threats, leading the Cyveillance team of cyber intelligence analysts. Since 1987 she has provided consultation and leadership in cyber crime to public and private industry including Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and Network Security Corp. (NSEC), federal intelligence agencies and bureaus, and law enforcement, focusing on domestic and international security issues. Dr. Gudaitis has served on the United States Secret Service Advisory Board for Insider Threat and trained investigators at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Mr. Ogorek has more than 17 years of industry experience collaborating at all levels of the organization in order to deliver client focused solutions. Throughout his career he has grown his responsibilities leading both technical and non-technical functions and gained valuable expertise in information security, Web technologies and network architecture. He was previously the Senior Technical Security Investigator at AOL LLC developing response policy and procedures for Anti-Phishing Incident Response within the Information Technology & Security Division. |
