Cyveillance Real-Time Dashboard Version 2.5 Decreases Impact of Online Risks
Increased coverage, Unicode support, and adaptive capabilities identify
online risks virtually anywhere on the Internet
ARLINGTON, VA, November 29, 2004 – Cyveillance®, the leading provider of online risk monitoring and management solutions, announced today the availability of the Cyveillance Real-Time Dashboard, Version 2.5. The system’s enhanced ability to quickly pinpoint online threats and fraud allows customers to shorten their reaction time to online security events, thereby reducing potential negative repercussions.
The enhanced system provides an upgraded data-mining platform that is capable of processing significantly larger volumes of Internet content at a faster speed and in more languages. Given the global nature of the Internet and the reality that online security events can occur anywhere in the world, it is critical that businesses leverage an online risk monitoring system capable of comprehensively analyzing Internet content regardless of location, prominence, or language. Version 2.5 accomplishes these goals by offering a scalable platform capable of increased throughput using the Unicode standard.

New features of the Cyveillance Dashboard Version 2.5 include the following:
- Foreign Language Support – The system can search, process, and report online incidents regardless of language.
- Highly Adaptive Knowledge Model – A new architectural design to the system allows changes to the system’s search, categorization, and filtering logic in real time, allowing it to keep pace with the Internet’s evolution and rapidly changing threat models.
- Increased Throughput – A more scalable, distributed architecture allows the system to process more data from the World Wide Web, Usenet, junk e-mail (spam), IRC/Chat, message boards, and other sources.
- Web log (blog) Coverage – Cyveillance now monitors and processes millions of blog postings in real time, complementing the many other Internet protocols and sub segments monitored.
- Enhanced Ad Hoc Search Capabilities – Cyveillance has implemented a new full-text index to speed ad hoc and saved queries. Customers will see a dramatic decrease in query response time when using the search function.
