Cyveillance Launches New Generation of Technology for Online Monitoring
Expanded Coverage of Internet Data Sources, New Workflow Management Tools Boost Recapture of Brand-Related Revenues
Arlington, Va., March 21, 2002Cyveillance®, a private company and leading provider of 100% Relevant Internet intelligence, today announced the availability of its Cyveillance Intelligence Center 2.0, a new generation of data collection technology and case management tools for comprehensive Internet monitoring. Cyveillance service offerings are used by large organizations worldwide for taking control of their online brand identity, digital assets and corporate reputation.
The new release, available immediately worldwide, significantly expands the scope of coverage for its Internet data sources to include, in addition to the world wide web: usenet/newsgroups; auction sites; P2P networks; message boards; FTP; IRC/Chat; and promotional "spam" email.
Additionally, the release provides customers with a new user interface and Action Center that enables efficient follow-up and management of the intelligence that Cyveillance delivers. Examples include status tracking, automated and personalized cease and desist letters to site owners or ISPs, and compliance letters to business partners or affiliates. Its workflow management features track each incident or opportunity through to point of resolution and enables collaboration among teams of knowledge workers.
At the foundation of this new release are capabilities that enhance both security and scalability. Security enhancements strengthen the offerings from the standpoint of delivering proprietary intelligence to clients in an environment suitable for today's heightened anti-terrorism requirements. From an application standpoint, the release provides a new solution dedicated to complementing offline security plans through online awareness of potential physical and cyber threats.
Concurrently, key components of Cyveillance technology have been streamlined for greater volumes of data processing, resulting in improved scalability. Version 2.0 also employs new object model technology to support greater flexibility, while Internet downloaders have been strengthened for unequaled speed. Powerful new algorithms for scoring critical business issues were added as well.
"This is a milestone release for Cyveillance in that it further accelerates customer return-on-investment," said Panos Anastassiadis, President and CEO of Cyveillance. "Customers accessing the new release are already experiencing productivity gains and increased response time to revenue-related needs. We attribute many of our improvements to feedback and insight from our customer base, coupled with the innovation of our technology group."
